With Western putting a beat down on Guelph in Yates, will Guelph now just shut up!

Guelph had an easy schedule and talked smack all season long only to get manhandled  by Western.

PG to will come on an does his "propoganda guy" stuff trying to explain Guelph's embarrassing loss.

Gryphons got completely ripped off by the refs. Again! All calls favoured Western. And Western has so many 24/25 yr olds playing they should be ashamed to be still playing at that old age. Go get and education and a job by then.

Do you have nothing better to do with your time? Yes the game was a blow out. We get it. Western is still a dynasty.

Cupcake schedule or not, you can’t just discount the fact Guelph came back from a 2-3 start to the season and that all the hard work those guys put in got them to the Yates.

the reason you get all this smack talk is because of haters like you, and they’re just itching to prove you wrong.

2 things:

1.  Specify which calls the refs made that "Gryphons were completely ripped off by";
2.  RE: jobs, I'm pretty sure Western grads (including Mustangs football players) do quite well in this respect and I doubt they need your encouragement to secure something good

Now just admit that your team was beat by a stronger UWO team today - cheers!

Btw - Sask @ Western for the Mitchell (or is it the Uteck)??  GO STANGS GO!!!

Oh please....admit it Guelph was all talk, easy schedule, had no offense (49 the yrds passing!!) And 200 yard total offense.  In looking at Western schedule is only Queens and  Carleton came close to matching the powerhouse Western.

63-14 score that was an old fashioned a$$ whooping and Guelph should feels embarrassed and ashamed.  All the talk they made during season and put up a disgraceful performance.

Maybe next time they can show some humility.

Early in the game. A lucky break here, an incredible play there. The game would have turned out different

45-17 Guelph

Western got lucky. Go buy a lotto ticket

Lots of Non Western trolls in here stirring up crap about Guelph.  At least they made it to the Yates.  They had a nice run to get there.  Some in here are totally classless.

I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm...they weren't being serious with that.  Let's take it easy on the real Guelph fans; as #PurpleReign says, at least they did make it to the Yates...and ended up having a decent season, despite the rough start.

Although beaten yesterday we still love our Gryphs. This team will be back stronger and grittier than ever in 2019 and will be in the mix again. They are building a team that will be there when the Mustang years are over coinciding with Merchant being done. Gryphons only lose 3 players off this year team. LB Korol, OT Starczala and K Ferraro. Everyone else is back including 6 first team rookie all stars and that includes JP Cimankinda who is going to be the top running back in the OUA in the very near future. Yesterday vs the vaunted Mustang defence he ran for 148 yards on 20 carries an average of 7.4 yds every time he touched the ball. If he had of been playing from week one he would be the run away winner of the Rookie of the Year Award. Gryphons are solidly entrenched as the #2 OUA team with sights of closing the gap on the Mustangs. All in all a very good year for the rebuilding Gryphons.

Congrats on your fine recruiting and future, but if you think Western will fade anytime soon even when Merchant is done, you don't know the depth that this team has.  There are second and third string players that can start on most teams. Cimankinda is a good back and had a good game.  He had 1 run for 57 yards other than that he was kept in check most of the game. He was Guelph's best player out there and has a bright future.

We will see how many of them stay in school. That is key. Also, the HC spot is a big issue. Tough not to give it to Galloway
