Let’s get the trolling going early

Cent- bottom of the bottom. Maybe 1 win this year. No one wants to go to this school

Crescent H - back to rebuilding maybe a win

Manning back to rebuilding maybe a win

BOB - not enough around the Recruited QB who found God all of a sudden and the dancing cdn cup Wr. But they get wins from the above

ND - one more year and they Are great again

WW- just squeeze into second place unless you kept the horrible OC then back to 4th

Saint Francis Browns - a small decline. They will just barely go undefeated. Just 327 scores for and give up a huge 36 points! Easily win cities BUT The Browns barely take back the Provincial title. And send another 16 players to university, all taking business this time. Parents Are now allowed to order leather jackets

Im from Calgary and I believe that Harry Ainley will win provincials again. From seeing them beat St Francis with a team that was mostly Grade 11 and 10, and reading about the talent and transfers coming on the north board, I believe this is an extremely athletic team. People complain how StF gets all the NorthWest kids when Ainley has kids from all over the city.

Posted by Wise Wood obviously because Wise Wood posters are stupid, going nowhere near 2nd place, the chicken with his head cut off QB who runs around in circles  in their tiny maroon minds and 2nd raters Offensively. More obnoxious talk and no action. DB's who get torched all the time in Midget. Supposedly City Champs the last 3 years, they get average Stamps players who were god awful in Midget football and bench warmers from anywhere else. 4th or 5th.

Thx bud now move along. You might want to work on those anger management issues. You need new panties yours in a bunch. WW probably recruited some player away from your school. Tragically no leather jacket for you. No matter leather jackets only belong to one school. You need to up your recruiting game.

Btw your son sucks at football and needs to start wearing your old panties

The saddest statement is that the outcome to the end of the season is entirely based on St Francis decades of illegal recruiting and is pre-determined.
Every Head Coach at every school knows St Francis will win Cities but they still participate and put up with it. Crazy.
It kills the interest and anticipation that any City High School season should have. All of the study time lost, hard work, workouts, sweat, blood and injuries that begin on August 30th are wasted because several old boy adult losers are obsessed about a high school team.
Any other High School league in the country has different schools as winning Cities off and on.
Not with 45 years cheating lying St Francis on the premises. Both CBE and Catholic open new schools and drain existing Div 1 school of students and players. Nothing, though, ever changes at lack of ethics old dumpy St Francis, the bullsh*t train rolls on, they have lost zero students and players. What a fixed trash system. So anyone insulting other schools is just a joke. There is one winner and all know who that is.

what is it with St Francis posters always talking about men wearing PANTIES, then they talk about teenage boys wearing PANTIES?
you post about teenage football players wearing panties? you are a mentally ill individual
better do a Criminal background check on your coaches & hangers on because someone is looking at some pretty nasty porn to post that

1. Francis. Beatable this year. Good defense but lack of offense will allow teams chances to win.

2. ND. Run game and defense with good coaching will take them far.

3. HWW. Lots of weapons on O. No better or worse than ND.

4. Cent. Always beats BOB,Manning,Crescent but need to be sharp to beat the Sf,ND,WW.

5. BOB. Great QB and receiver. Bad coaching. Not enough to beat the balanced teams above.

6. Manning. Solid QB who made Team AB. No supporting cast. Tough to get a win.

7. Crescent. Not as good as last year. Tough to get on the scoreboard.

Proof that St Francis cheats using a variety of means that renders Calgary Div 1 Football to be an ongoing farce in terms of fair competition. If you are new or not these stats are disturbing.

Outlined below, it is not any sort of normal situation that over the past 43 years since 1975, that the St Francis High School Div 1 program in a constantly changing neighborhood demographic in city of of over 1.3 million people has been able to win 55.81% of City Championships in a Div 1 that has had up to 8 teams in it. They have won 24 of 43 Div 1 City Titles since 1975.

That is IMPOSSIBLE under fair competition.

Time to let actual statistics do the talking. When something is not likely or probable in the calculation of statistics, then some unknown or Outlier is having an influence to skew the statistics. It is not coaching.

City of Calgary Division 1 High School City Championships, the truth is here but not pretty

WW will not finish anywhere near second. Their coaching staff took over the Midget Stampeders and look how they fared. WW has no coaching talent other than off season recruitment, they would be in div 3 if they din't recruit. A Parent even complained to the league about WW coaches recruiting their kid. Pathetic people.

Whats even the point of having this discussion? We all already know who's gonna win. The players aren't stupid they know it also. Football in general is less than 20 years away from a complete death MAXIMUM- with the way the old boys club runs the show in Calgary that death will come much quicker.

Save yourselves the frustration of coaching and supporting this league- find another hobby. Take up water polo coaching.

Agree with idsm2, it is a waste of time and health to do this year after year, everyone involved with ASAA & SHSAA should all be embarrassed & ashamed of their complicity but as we all know the old boys from Cowboys & Bantam & Midget Board of Directors rig recruiting right into High School Div 1. A big joke.

Some loser on the board talking about "bad coaching", you don't even know what you don't know and that is a lot.
Who told you that? Your lousy Bantam coach who as far as anyone can tell has no coaching background at all? Teams like St Francis with tons of recruited players don't have great coaching, some guy who hung around somewhere with some other guys on some team & never played at a high level. Couple of guys at other places with Phys Ed diplomas who latched on to Team Alberta & try to use that to say they know what they are doing but never, ever win anything.

Some had sons play for these teams in the past and know how good the coaching is. Winning records, City Championship quality

Hey "real1", u such a bright dude:

Which High School team has a long time Defensive coach still coaching who is excellent with players who played Prairie Junior Football then:
- Ten seasons in the Canadian Football League
- Winner of the CFL's MOST OUTSTANDING CANADIAN PLAYER AWARD and was known as one of the hardest hitters in the league
- CFL All-Star three times
- Won a Grey Cup Championship
- Is in that same team's Hall of Fame?

Which team?

"bad coaching" trash talk - coaches cannot be on the field to execute plays for high school players, the not very good players teams are forced to use can make really bad mistakes - that was always how real high school football was, they had weak links, it was at least real

You "smart" guys don't know what you don't know because some coaches are down to earth and do not go around trumpeting their background like you obnoxious types.

Where did "sleep on my couch coach" play again? Nowhere. Same with the other Phys Ed teacher pretenders out there. High school tubbies who hung around long enough to be in charge, not due to ability.

not sure of that football trivia answer but anyone with those credentials in going to be a good coach one would think
worst thing about St Francis is those around them stopped trying to deny they recruit all the time, now just mock everyone else
how does CSHSAA react? they schedule them a special game with Notre Dame at McMahon Stadium which updated Shouldice could easily handle

Lol that’s how the school boards react...by paying for the now annual? Special game at McMahon bc the board is also corrupt and will never do anything. They only come down on other schools. Again special advisor is the ND coach vs recruiting and ND recruits the good players in the NE!

Those are the rules. I would tell all schools to recruit. Just don’t get caught unless you are ND and STF then you are safe

Prediction: A player for one of the teams that "suck" or "stink" as the St Francis Browns parents like to loudly say at Shouldice or make fun of on this board "maybe 1 win" etc. will get badly hurt for life in the near future by the stacked team & some player trying to impress a coach with violence. The subsequent major Lawsuit against the CSHSAA, ASAA and the Public and Catholic Boards will badly shake up High School football. The Boards will dump football because of liability and insurance costs. Get the quivering lips of the CSHSAA Board on the stand under oath and ask them why they did not enforce their own rules for football player safety reasons. That is where this is headed. Matter of time. Tick, tick. A series of unfortunate events will end this farce.

Here we go again with you spewing your absolute lack of knowledge in football and your idiotic assumptions:

"It's not coaching you say?"

" Statistically impossible unless you're cheating you say?"

"This doesn't happen in Texas or the US where stiff recruiting rules are in place you say?"

Well...well...well...

Calif revamped their state champion divisions in 2006 - since then Del La Salle has played in all 12 championship games winning 8.

Texas Westlake has 23 consecutive playoff appearances and 71 consecutive district wins.

Remember meathead these are state champions and district wins, not just city finals.

The US is full of teams dominating, but they can't cheat so what's the answer? Same as it is here; Coaching!

Please, please, please take your own advice and find another hobby, hopefully you'll be good at that one.

Ah yes its all the coaching and has nothing to do with the best athletes in an entire quarter of a city and more deciding to all goto one school.

Just like the WiseWood coaching staff when presented with a team of average players they fall apart because they don't know how to coach, they know how to recruit.

Its easy to create a stellar program when you don't have to spend the first 4 weeks teaching stance and cover 3.

BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Everyone but you cheats and everyone but you wins because they cheat. You don't care when presented with solid facts. You only care about the ones you can pull out of your own ass. I'll bet you're a lot of fun at a party!

You are without question the dumbest and most one dimensional person ever on these boards and that's saying something.

Get some help already!

btw, a good coach doesn't need 4 weeks!

If you think cover 3 is teachable to be properly executed in half a practice then you are either bill belly or a completely clueless coach.

Aint nobody in the league can teach and properly execute zone coverage in a practice to someone who has no prior experience.

The old boys club back at it again, 15 years of coaching and look how they think so highly of themselves. That's right everyone else in the city is a crappy coach but you.

Teaching a player to properly play and execute cover 3 can take hundreds of reps and years. Its not something you can just tell a player like he's running a route. If I teach a player cover 3 in half a practice then throw him out there in a game with only that knowledge then I am a bad coach. Cover 3 is more than just get deep.

Wrong once again Brown-nose in every way, in fact there is a High School in the US in Seattle that was stripped of State Championships for Illegal recruiting and Suspended from Playoffs for 4 seasons. You tried to mangle the facts thinking no one would check. That is where you and your dishonesty is headed.

**************
- De La Salle High School (Concord, California) is a Private School like Rundle College in Calgary and charges fees of over $20,000.00 per year for students to come from all over the country if they wish. It is not the local North high school. Bad example.

- 99% of the students go to college.

- It is a COLLEGE PREP SCHOOL, not in a city with a system with a Catholic Board because there is none of that in California.

- DE LA SALLE HIGH SCHOOL IS NOTHING LIKE CHEATING & RECRUITING ST FRANCIS. NOTHING.
It is essentially a College before College.

- De La Salle High School is a private Roman Catholic school for boys in Concord, California, United States. Located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oakland, the school was founded in 1965 as a Lasallian institution.

- Don't even know what you are talking about once again.

************************

- Texas Westlake huh? This is your comparision? In 1996 - Texas Westlake won the school’s first and only state championship behind a dominant effort spearheaded by future NFL players Drew Brees and Seth McKinney as well as a dominant defense. They won over Cooper at Texas Stadium in the Class 5A Division II title game.

- Texas 5A Division II - is Texas Division 2, that is 2 not Div 1, one Championship, man are you lousy at trying to back up your uneducated statements.

Again, no idea what you are posting about.

**************************

- Bellevue High School was SUSPENDED 4 years for illegally recruiting players. They are likely to be stripped of State Titles for the years they were illegal recruiting.

- Ultimately, Bellevue had several players each year that should have been playing for other schools. Not only does that make Bellevue better, but it weakens the surrounding schools and violates the spirit of youth sports.
- It was also is unfair to players that actually grew up in Bellevue but lost their spot to someone from out of the area that was recruited. - - They now have a 4-year postseason ban, can't accept booster money for 4 years, fired their coach, will have all transfers go through a more rigorous application process for the next two years, and:
- the WIAA will investigate further to determine if they need to strip any of their state titles.

violates the spirit of youth sports.

- SEATTLE TIMES: The WIAA also announced that Bellevue will vacate its playoff results from the 2012, 2013 and 2014 seasons, citing a lack of “institutional control.”
- The 2012 and 2013 teams won state titles, beating Eastside Catholic. The 2014 team finished second to Eastside Catholic. The 2012 and 2013 titles will remain vacated, meaning no school can call itself the Class 3A state football champion for those years.
