I am surprised no one is posting about the 3 x Div 2 violations handed down or is it bc it’s Div 2 and it is not that important. 2 out of 3 have been trying to recruit for years. Now since they were successful now they are busted! Hmmm not really policing unless they take players away from Div 1 teams. Perception is sometimes everything

So who was it? If you give information it would be helpful. The rules apply to all High Schools.

Please dear god get some psychological help. Your non stop crying and complaining does nothing. Then, when called out, you quickly switch to a new board or topic and start all over again. Francis is bad, ND is bad, WW is bad, Cent & BoB too. Everyone is bad bad bad.

Can’t prove it, but everyone is bad, run by fat old people with too much money, don’t care about anything or anyone, just themselves!! I’ve seen it all first hand and sang about it on Sundays! Everyone hates everyone and all those fat f***s are to blame for everything.

Calgary football is the center if Hell.

Of course though if my kid was given a starting spot on ANY team it would all be alright and forgiven. Hallelujah.

Can't prove it?

Its already been proven. Every coach in D1 has been caught recruiting and had a measly 1 game suspension. Every D1 team has dirt on each other that they don't bring up because they know that if I rat out BOB then BOB will rat me out.

WISEWOOD LITERALLY HAD A KID SLEEPING IN A COACHES BASEMENT, this is not an accusation, they were caught and their ASSISTANT coach kicked out of the league. Do you people really think WW HC has no idea what his assistants are doing? Do you think WW HC always wonders why so many Bantam Stamps go to WW? Wow who's head coach of the Bantam Stamps? A guy by the name of Hardy? Wonder who's father he is.

Want to fix Calgary football? Literally ban every head coach of every Div 1 team because they all have blood on their hands and they all know it.

The only thing that keeps these guys from exposing each other is mutually assured destruction- huh mr "I know some big time coaches in the states", we know which kids you've talked too so laying at the bottom of the standings doesn't keep you out of the nukes paths.

It is very good to see we all agree that recr is a good thing for Calgary football and for some of you just slow to see the light. Lol.

To players
Please strongly think about your simple decision to go to your designate. Why not go play with actual football players with similar goals as yourself. Do not play DIv2, don’t make me laugh. Do not play for Crescent or bob or Cent they have maybe one good year and they are done. Come get you leather jacket and ring. See the light. Lol

POLICY 2 – ATHLETIC RECRUITMENT, INDUCEMENT AND UNDUE INFLUENCE—Revised June 2016

Undue Influence, inducement and/or the recruitment of student-athletes is considered a violation of the Constitution.

To maintain the proper relationship between the academic purposes of schools and their athletic activities, all member schools of the CSHSAA and anyone directly connected to the school (including alumni associations, booster clubs, guest/volunteer coaches, parent groups) must refrain from recruitment, inducement or other forms of undue influence that would encourage a student to enroll in, or transfer to, a school primarily for athletic purposes.

Without in any way limiting the applicability of the foregoing general prohibition, a member shall not:

recruit student-athletes from beyond their feeder schools, as defined by their school districts -
THE COMPLAINT IS FOR 40 PLUS YEARS OF ST FRANCIS OUT OF DISTRICT & HAVE ALL CITY CHAMPIONSHIPS VACATED

directly or indirectly initiate discussion of one’s athletic program with an athlete pre-registered (designated), or registered to another school
use competitive level differences between schools to imply an inability of the other schools to meet the athlete’s academic or athletic needs
use comparative measures, personal enticements, or guarantees of any sort
discuss with an athlete any matters about waiving of fees to entice the athlete to attend the school, (team or school)

The possible existence of undue influence, inducement or recruitment shall be determined on a case by case basis.

Undue influence, inducement or recruitment may include:

2.1          Any offer of monetary, or transportation assistance to a student, parent or guardian (including, but not limited to, fees, tuition, team apparel as an incentive, bus passes or other allowances, waivers, billeting or special living arrangements). Provided however, that for the purposes of these Bylaws, waiver of any fee ordinarily charged to an international student by a school, school board, or school division, shall not necessarily be considered undue influence or recruitment. Provided further that, when determining whether undue influence or recruitment exists, the CSHSAA Executive shall be entitled to consider whether such fees are waived for students not involved in athletic activities;

2.2          The offer or acceptance of school privileges or considerations not normally granted to other students, particularly those who wish to enroll from outside of the school’s designated boundary area (this may also include guaranteeing a player a roster spot prior to acceptance and the try-out process);

2.3          Any inducement or attempted inducement of parents, guardians or students to change their location of residence for athletic reasons;

2.4          The contacting of a student and/or parent or guardian of a student who attends another school in an attempt to persuade that student directly or indirectly, primarily for athletic purposes, to attend the inducer’s school (this includes contact by community or volunteer coaches). A school’s athletic program cannot be the primary purpose for enticing a student to attend a non-designated schooL - BUSTED, GUILTY OF COMPLAINT;

Initiating a Complaint:

A PARENT, COMMUNITY MEMBER, coach, teacher or administrator may initiate a complaint of perceived violation of recruitment, inducement or undue influence by sending a report in writing...to the Executive Director.
With evidence provided, an investigation of the offending member school will commence.
The Discipline Committee will participate in the investigation and will make a decision regarding the violation. Refer to the ‘Investigative Process’ (Policy 17.3).
