I'm somewhat confused about when the clock should start after a 3 minute warning is given.

Exam question #7 indicates that a T.O. was called at 3:10 in the 4th quarter.
On the subsequent play, A22 runs for 60 yards and out of bounds at the B35.

The clock now stops at 2:55 whereby the 3 minute warning is given.
Does the clock now restart at the snap or on the Referee's ready?

The key here is that the 60 yard run occurred before the 3 minute warning.  The warning is different from when the clock hits three minutes.  So because the 60 yard play happened before the warning that play does not affect clock status for the first play after the three minute warning.

As the previous poster said, the easiest way to remember this is that the first play after the warning will always be starting the clock on the whistle and not on the snap unless there was a time out or time count.
