RICC loses 50-0
Football North Ottawa loses 49-14 (42-7 at half)
Football North Mississauga loses 40-7

Total Aggregate is 139-21 for opponents

At one point does one realise that these schools are doing an injustice to the entire high school football landscape in Ontario.  Between the highway robbery that is these schools and some of the summer league programs that claim to be elite, when will parents push back and stop these programs from stealing their hard earned money?

Thing is no recruiters or scouts attend these games. NCAA regs prohibit it and CIS coaches cant be bothered travelling south.  Odd thing is this is what is advertised... exposure. How many kids at the prep schools are not playing when they could be back at their home schools and getting at least CIS exposure and being a star for their high school. Parents should get their kids back to their real schools before its to late.

its already to late...any kids that play REP are ineligible to go back to their home schools.  They have to sit out a year.  Sucks for the grade 12s.

The parents are fools.  If the kids were that good, they would have US schools knocking on their door.  There are several London area players that got sucked into Canada Prep and some other prep school(s) this year.

Way to go Larry...

Steal all the kids' money while they attend a regular public school.

The score was only 40-7 because that team put their number 2s and 3s in at halftime...

LOL... great exposure for Canadian kids playing against division 2/3 schools, and then playing against their number 2s and 3s by halftime, and still getting destroyed...

The worst part is that the above poster is correct... no NCAA coach can attend these 'exhibition games' because of the NCAA rules.

Larry & Lee... you guys are true A class idiots who make false promises to kids and their parents.  You thrive off of these kids' parents to take out loans to pay for your stupid FN school, and you make the parents believe that it's a private school with better education.

My hope is that none of these players get seriously injured while playing against these teams. Otherwise, they've paid $13000 to attend Clarkson for the year...  lol... you guys kill me!

This is actually not true...

As long as the kids are not playing this 'REP' football and sitting in their regular classroom by September 5th, they are eligible to play Ropssa. This is exactly what Lavric from LP did last season.  When he didn't get the starting job at FN, and he noticed how bad it was playing against these American teams, he was sitting in his home room at LP on the first day of school.

You technically aren't a part of the FN school if you unenroll yourself before the first day of school.

Well that just seals the entire deal right there! Butt hurt parents and coaches that are pissed off that players have left their absolutely perfect, top notch, best experience and recruiting opportunity in the country Schools to aspire for something more. Don't worry parents and coaches....in a few years your kids will be gone or you will retire with a ridiculous teachers pension and all thoughts of little Bobby going off to a prep/private school to play football will be long gone.

You guys are idiots.  Just keep giving these guys your money.  Then tell yourselves it was worth it when your son gets his $2000 USports scholarship and ends up at York or Windsor.

These schools have grown to 5 teams in Ontario in the past 2 years and thats with minimal to no success in their games. Think it says more about the lack of quality programs, positional coaching and competition in public and catholic schools through out the GTA coupled with the greatly reduced numbers of kids choosing to play football. Think OFSAA and the school boards need to rethink transfer rules and how they design and tier leagues across regions now before they are forced to when more schools cancel football and private programs continue to expand.
My prediction is; based on location and quality of talent Windsor and London will be the next centers to start programs

Not much news about these prep schools now that they have started playing. Even the other site which is a sponsor of the prep schools only gives partial scores and mostly quick reviews of scoring plays of the Ontario teams.  For the record Clarkson North is 1 and 2, Can Prep is 0 and 2, St Josephs Football North is 1 and 3, RICC is 0 and 3. So that is a combined 2 and 10, a lot of money spent, a lot of miles and hours on the buses and not in class. Very little publicity for the kids and many who are there have nothing to show in terms of highlights, names publicized or even being on the field for that matter.

after reading through this thread, I have just one question.   Why the hell do you care  what a parent spends their  money on ?   Your opinion probably doesn't count for a lot and your dislike of  Larry & Lee and football north is noted.  Obviously  the kids that play there  are  playing  good  teams,  some of those players do not have  HS football at home and  others believe it it a way to a D1 offer...   whatever reason  they are there,  let them  play.. have fun and  gain experience.

Even funnier is how this team in Erie PA would mercy rule every OFSAA Champion team in the 1st half of a game. Just reality all you delusional Ontario HS teacher / coaches.

Agree there is a poster who is endlessly attacking these schools because of some sort of agenda or bitterness. Personally I have mixed opinions of these schools. But they are obviously filling a void in the sport in ontario. If parents want to send their kids there it is their choice as we live in a free world. Personally I doubt it is a teacher/ coach posting these attacks. If you talk to the average football coach they will tell you that the sport is in decline in high school. The level of play, the numbers of players is in serious decline. As a result alternatives like these prep schools are growing.
