OFC not worried

The ofa are promoting the Opfl all over the place. Organizations from both Ov and Ofc are a little worried about the future of their leagues. The Ov was all over the place this year, issues from the website not working to teams not paying their fees to teams not knowing who and where they would be playing till the night before their playoff game. You will see teams leave the Ov and no one to replace them.

Leave the OFC out of this, we do not have anywhere near the dysfunctional type  interactions of both the OP and OV, and for the vast majority of time, now that Hamilton is gone, well hopefully totally gone now, has no drama in comparison.

We are quite happy having a spot where smaller markets have a place to play.  If some of the OV wish to join us, and they can fit, into the league concepts, then great.  Soo was a welcome addition, as would be some other smaller organizations if they wish to come. If not enjoy the league you are in, and leave us out of your at, times, over the top stuff.

We just want to go forward, stay positive, and enjoy the summer next year.  Cheers.

As someone with the OPFL, we're very happy to see the OFC succeed. There absolutely needs to be a second league where the smaller regions can participate with similar Clubs.

Contrary to popular belief, the OPFL is not about consuming all football in Ontario. It is about a place to play without the massive OVFL mismanagement over our heads. The differences with the OVFL are due to personalities, and the lack of financial responsibility toward member clubs.

We do accept it. This is obvious when another four teams have decided to leave. The only people posting here with positive messages about the OV are the last couple OV execs left.

Is that including Quinte, who came to their senses and realized the OFC was a much better fit?

Been involved with both leagues... OV and OP...fairly new to the football scene as our son has only played a few years. Reading these posts and others, it really is eye opening to see the state of Ontario football. Sad really.

AGAIN, leave the OFC out of all your drama and assertions please. The oldest league in Ontario, has hardly any of the crazy parents running around(Hamilton, but hopefully they are finally gone), and gives smaller markets somewhere to enjoy the vast majority of games to be competitive.  Problems, sure there will always be disagreements and solutions to those,  but there are not a multitude of threads encompassing hundreds of pages of yelling, screaming, negative baiting the other leagues.  Let them stay dysfunctional, and we will remain a calm place for teams who wish and need not be Ego Driven, to enjoy competition.

Sorry your  corrupt organization and the Ontario minister of sport should shut you down and clean the OFC up or run it themselves. You clearly favorite some leagues over others. I challenge all parents from all leagues to send a letter to the government.

I think you mean OFA Ontario Football Alliance which oversees all leagues in Ontario. OFC is Ontario Football Conference which is one of the leagues overseen by OFA. The only league OFC "favorites" is it's own. Its good to see you have fully researched all of this before offering an opinion.
