BT finished last. But who knows some BT players might get a second chance to show case their abilities at the SCB.

Hearing some talk that a bunch of the STM guys are going to play summer ball for the Ti Cats Varsity team. That would be a huge coup IF it happens

The hfa wishes a large numberof STM players show up and play. in the past few STM players played spring. They do not need to play as they are already in the sights of almost all the programs in the cis. This is also why few STM players play in the SCB.

Their age 12’s are talking about doing it all together. Again, talk in November is a lot different than action in March, but keep your eyes open for it

Few STM players are at the SCB. They could win another one there as well.

These STM players should be careful if they decide to play spring. Remember this is the hfa. They recruit players and bench them for less talented players who are connected to the club. You might be a starter on STM and you might be far better player but that means nothing. Remember the hfa likes to build up teams to support their own. Some might get starting positions and get highlighted but others might not so some less talented player can be propped up and given multiple chances.

It’s a little forvearly for the Canes to be pulling this trope out already, isn’t it?

Both clubs had this problem last year. The canes SV team had a major problem with this issue at QB. Both clubs really need to make it clear that no one is being carried and there is no special deals being made for certain players who are connected to these clubs.

The STM players may be surprised that these rep teams are pretty good. London's SV OPFL would have have given the STM a go.

Looking at all this, IF they come out, you can bet your bottom dollar whichever program offers a complete freebie wins.

Why wouldn't they demand it, all you guys are frothing at the bit about having them come out, in early December.

No club is going to pay for players not even Hamilton clubs. Hamilton clubs are known for building teams around their connected players not paying for players. That has never been a feature of any Hamilton clubs and this has never been discussed about them.In contrast some critics have claimed that the connected players parents have paid the club to start and then build teams around these players. They pay by volunteering in various roles. But never once has this pay to play been talked about..

Sorry clueless, but every winning summer programs has players on it playing gratis, why do you think fees keep going up? Have to have players like your son who isn't as talented, pay so the best players don't have to pay.  This is a new concept to you? Where have you been?

This does not happen in Hamilton. If you knew anything about football in the city you would know that there has never been any discussion about this. It is just the opposite in Hamilton as there are pages and pages of discussions about it on this post. Players who should not be starting or even making teams because their parents pay with their free labour. They volunteer and help and do the work that other clubs pay people to do. This is the issue in Hamilton.  Never heard one person or parent even talk about giving players a free ride.

Your contribution to this thread is that a good rep team will beat a good high school team? Thanks tips; pretty sure everybody knows that dork. Do you have any hot takes about how Laval would care against Alabama while you’re at it?

This guy isn’t from here. This has ABSOLUTELY been happening here since the IM people left to form the HFA/Canes. Top guys got discounts and some were free. This know happens at the new Canes as well.

Never heard of players playing for free. It must be one of the best kept secrets in Hamilton as this is the first it has been talked about or posted about. There are endless pages about the other issue of players starting because their parents volunteer. Sadly have heard that some players parents have paid more  to get their kids to play on the top AAA teams. But it is like those claiming players are not paying ,it is all just talk and misinformation or speculation.
